Everyone knows that a white t-shirt and denim is as classic as it gets. It is one of my favorite bases for an outfit — add a great blazer, a leather jacket, a suede coat, layer a sweater over it — and you have something that works every single time.

But as we head into early summer I want to talk about the other white shirts. The ones that take the idea somewhere more interesting. Before you buy another basic white tee, consider your options.
